How to book?

Step 1. Request confirmation of availability Request confirmation of availability using the form or by email to mid@BBarcelonaapartments.com, indicating: apartment reference, date of entry and exit from the apartment, and the reason for the stay.

Step 2. Send the requested documentation Once availability is confirmed, send us the following documentation, depending on your situation:

  • University or specialized school student: University registration or nominative payment certificate. Photocopy of passport / DNI / NIE. Permanent address other than that of the leased property. Current account number in a bank (European bank account).
  • Company and self-employed: Title of incorporation of the company (company only). Title accrediting the powers of the legal representative of the company and NIF of the company (company only). Corporate tax filed in the last financial year (form 200). Report of the last income tax return of the individual (self-employed only). Permanent address of the person who will occupy the property, different from that of the rented apartment. Photocopy of the passport / DNI / NIE of the person who will occupy the property. Current account number in a bank (European bank account).
  • Employed: Original employment contract. Copy of the last 2 payrolls. Permanent address other than that of the rented apartment. Photocopy of passport / DNI / NIE. Current account number in a bank (European bank account).
  • Other situations (a personalized and solvency analysis will be carried out): Permanent address other than that of the rented apartment. Photocopy of passport / DNI / NIE. Pay in advance the total amount of the stay + deposit + agency fees.

Recommendations for opening a current account for non-residents in Spain: When a foreigner wants to open a bank account, the legislation of our country distinguishes between resident foreigners, who have a residence permit in Spain, and non-resident foreigners. Those who are in the first case must present their NIE to the corresponding banking entity, and comply with the usual requirements when opening a bank account. Those who are in the second case must obtain the certificate of non-residency, going to their consulate or any office of the General Directorate of the Police, and with their own passport, request the certificate of non-residence. Remember that the procedures to open a bank account usually take approximately 10-12 days, so plan ahead for this process.

Step 3. BBarcelona Apartments will shortly communicate the result of your rental application. The final formalization of the contract and the rental conditions will be subject to the final decision of the property owner.

Step 4. Make the reservation payment: first month's rent + deposit + agency fees. First month's rent in progress: proportional income counted from the start day of your contract until the end of the month. Minimum deposit: cash deposit equivalent to 1 month's rent. Agency fees: depending on the rental period. Rental for between 6 and 12 months: the fees are a monthly payment + VAT 21%. Rental between 1 and 4 months: the fees are a monthly payment (-30% discount) + VAT 21%. Rental for between 4 and 6 months: the fees are a monthly payment (-20% discount) + VAT 21%.

How are the apartment monthly payments paid? You have 2 options: Through direct debit. If you provide us with an account number (European bank account), we will automatically charge you the rent between the 1st and 5th of each month. If you do not want to provide us with an account, you must pay the entire stay in advance before handing over the keys to the apartment.

What is the exact address of the apartment?

When you reserve the apartment, you receive a reservation confirmation email with the exact address of the apartment.

 

¿Qué equipamiento o extras incluye el apartamento?

The accommodations are fully equipped with linens and towels, and the kitchen will have a complete set of kitchenware and utensils, such as plates, cutlery, glasses, pots and pans.

All apartments have Wi-Fi internet connection.

You can request a crib or a high chair by email to info@BBarcelonaapartments or directly in the reservation form. Remember that these are items that are subject to availability.

How does apartment cleaning work?

Before your arrival, the accommodation will be cleaned and prepared for your stay. Upon your departure, it is expected that the apartment will be left in a reasonable condition, such as having taken out the rubbish and washing up the used dishes.

Are dogs or cats allowed in the apartment?

Although we love pets, due to other clients' allergies and possible damage to the apartment, it is strictly prohibited to bring pets, unless expressly requested.

Is smoking allowed in the apartment?

Smoking is not allowed in the apartments, according to Law 28/2005, of December 26, on sanitary measures.

What do I do when I arrive at the destination city?

You will need to call the check-in agent, at the phone number included in the confirmation email, as soon as you arrive (from the airport or transportation terminal, or when you arrive outside the city) to reconfirm the time with us prior to arrival. The check-in agent will wait for you at the apartment.

Do you have a pick up or transfer service to and from the airport?

Yes, we provide transfer services. Check our price list or contact us directly at info@BBarcelonaapartments.com.

What do I pay during check-in?

During check-in, you pay the outstanding balance along with the damage deposit, as indicated in the reservation confirmation email.

What time is check-in? Can I do it before?

Check-in time is from 3:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Arrivals between 10:00 p.m. and 1:30 a.m. have an additional charge of €40.

If you arrive in town before check-in time, you can call the check-in agent on the day of your arrival to see if it is possible to check into the apartment earlier. If you need to arrive very early, you could book the night before.

What time do I have to leave the apartment? Can I check out later?

Check-out time is until 11:00 am.

Late check-out is not guaranteed as other guests may arrive the same day you leave the apartment. You can ask the check-in agent upon arrival if it is possible to delay check-out. If you need to leave later you could book an extra night.
